Nota biográfica:

"Nunca pensei que fosse fazer um post a anunciar a publicação do meu livro infantil. Antes de falar sobre este livro, há duas coisas que precisam de saber sobre mim. Sempre adorei ler, desde que me lembro que sempre foi das minhas coisas favoritas. A paixão por escrever veio mais tarde, há três anos, e a partir daí não quis parar. Outra das coisas que mais amo são as crianças. Estou no segundo ano de um curso de Ação Educativa, e as crianças são o meu mundo. Não podia estar mais feliz por ter conseguido juntar estas duas paixões e estar agora a publicar um livro. Enquanto escrevia sobre a aventura do Benjamim, foquei-me num dos grandes problemas com que os pais se debatem hoje: os ecrãs. Depois, lembrei-me das histórias que os meus pais me contavam sobre a infância deles e as inúmeras brincadeiras que eles faziam na rua. Então, surgiu a história do Benjamim, que tanto me deu prazer em escrever. Espero que se apaixonem por esta história tanto como eu. Obrigada a Grafica Valefetal e a Michael Wautier por terem tornado isto possível."

Michael Wautier

Biographical note:

"Michael has always been an Artist, as a child he used to draw sketches of comic strips with imaginary characters and stories that he left wherever he went. He began learning the art of portraiture live in Paris Montmartre at the Sacré-Cœur in the 80s. He later took a Web Designer course in Brussels and emigrated to Portugal in 2001. In 2003 he created a website for commissioning charcoal and pastel portraits from photographs. These techniques aroused the curiosity of some private studios. Michael was then invited to teach Fine Art at various studios on the south of Lisbon. Michael enjoyed this new adventure so much that he later decided to open his own studio in Azeitão, which lasted until Covid-19. At the end of 2023, Michael gladly accepted the challenge of participating in the production of the book No Meu Tempo as an illustrator. The book's story was so beautiful, so simple and so educational that it made it much easier to create the atmosphere and the characters. Michael was able to blend his talents as an artist with his experience as a graphic designer, and the result was unexpected."
